Luncheon Meeting Featured Speaker
Mark Smits has been married for 45 years to his college sweetheart, Missy. They have four wonderful and successful children and 10 fun, curious and busy grandchildren. Mark attended Burges High School in El Paso Texas where he earned a 4-year Army ROTC scholarship to Texas A&M University. He graduated from A&M in 1979 with a BS in Building Construction, earning a Distinguished Military Graduate Award and the George C Marshall Award as one of the top 75 outstanding ROTC cadets in the nation. He was commissioned into the US Army Corps of Engineers by his father in December 1979. Read more…
