Kenneth will be presenting an overview of current events happening at the BUSH LIBRARY here in Dallas. His overview will include an update on the Bush Veteran’s Initiative, an overview of the library and museum and an update on special exhibits planned for 2024 including a temporary exhibit of some of the most important freedom documents of all time (this will include the Declaration of Independence, the Emancipation Proclamation and the Magna Carta to name a few).
Kenneth Austin is Charter Docent who has been with the library since 2012, a Team Leader for the George W. Bush Presidential Center for 10 years and has over 4,000 hours of volunteer service. Kenneth holds a Bachelor of Science in History and Political Science from Texas A&M Commerce and a Master of Science in History from North Texas University. He taught history and politics at various schools for over 39 years.
