Lieutenant General John Campbell retired from the US Air Force in 2003 after a 32-year career in which he served around the world as a fighter pilot, commander, and staff officer. In his last military assignments, he served as commander of F-15 and F-16 fighter wings; Deputy Director of Operations, Joint Staff, the Pentagon and Associate Director of Central Intelligence, Central Intelligence Agency.
John is active in the Air & Space Forces Association (AFA) and is the President of the AFA Sam Johnson (Dallas) Chapter and the Chair of AFA’s national Recruiting Task Force, designed to leverage the national reach of AFA to assist the Air Force Recruiting Service. He is also the Vice President of the National Defense Briefing Series and serves on numerous boards and councils, including being a Perpetual member of the Dallas Chapter Military Order of the World Wars (MOWW). He is a resident of McKinney, TX and he and his wife, Marky, have three children and five grandchildren and are members of the First United Methodist Church of McKinney. Read more…
