Larry Allen is a Dallas native, Vietnam Era Marine Corps veteran, and Director of North Texas Wreaths of Honor. Drafted into the Marines in 1969, he served in the Philippines, Taiwan, and Okinawa, earning the rank of Corporal and later serving as a Counter Guerrilla Warfare instructor.
After his military service, Larry earned a B.S. in Marketing from The University of Texas at Dallas and built a successful 38-year career in sales and management with leading battery manufacturers, helping develop major accounts including Dell, HP, Nokia, and Philips.
Today, Larry is dedicated to honoring veterans through North Texas Wreaths of Honor, raising funds to place wreaths on the graves of heroes at DFW National Cemetery each December. He has been married to his high school sweetheart for more than 57 years and is the proud father of two daughters and grandfather of two grandsons.
